US media: Democratic Congressman attacked during speech in Minneapolis calling for the abolition of the Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

According to NBC News, on January 27th local time, Democratic Congresswoman Ilhan Omar, of Somali descent, was attacked by a man during a meeting in Minneapolis. The man aimed a syringe at Omar and attempted to spray "unknown liquid" at her. He was immediately subdued and arrested by security personnel. Omar reportedly said during her speech that she was calling for the abolishment of Immigration and Customs Enforcement and demanding the resignation of Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen, threatening impeachment if Nielsen does not resign.
