As of the closing on that day, the price of light crude oil futures for March delivery on the New York Mercantile Exchange rose by $1.76 to close at $62.39 per barrel, an increase of 2.9%; while the price of Brent crude oil futures for March delivery in London rose by $1.98 to close at $67.57 per barrel, an increase of 3.02%.
