American Airlines expects flight cancellations to last for two more days due to the impact of the storm.

American Airlines CEO Robert Isom told investors during a conference call that due to a winter storm, the company has cancelled over 9,000 flights, describing it as the "largest weather-related operational disruption in company history." Isom mentioned that flight cancellations were particularly severe at the company's hub airports in Dallas-Fort Worth and Charlotte. He added that the company expects flight cancellations to continue for another two days before operations return to normal.
