CNNC New Energy: The new generation of large-aperture molten salt pool type concentrators has been successfully developed and installed.

According to China General Nuclear Power Corporation (CGN), during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, new energy within CGN's territory has achieved a breakthrough development, with installed capacity exceeding 70 million kilowatts, nearly three times the growth at the end of the "13th Five-Year Plan," and a cumulative online electricity of over 370 billion kilowatt-hours. The utilization rate of new energy equipment remains above 99%. By 2025, there will be an additional 13.29 million kilowatts of new installed capacity of new energy within the territory, and the annual independent operation capacity has jumped to the tens of millions of kilowatts level. Chen Gongquan, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Spokesperson of China General Nuclear New Energy Holdings Co., Ltd., stated that in the field of solar thermal energy, CGN's new generation of large-aperture molten salt trough collectors has been successfully developed and installed.
