Huazhong University of Science and Technology established the Brain-Machine Interface Research Institute.

On January 25th, the Institute of Brain-Machine Interface at Huazhong University of Science and Technology was officially established. The Institute is led by Tongji Hospital, affiliated with Tongji Medical College of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, and jointly constructed by 31 internal units including affiliated Union Hospital, School of Mechanical Science and Engineering, and School of Artificial Intelligence and Automation. Tang Zhouping, Secretary of the Party Committee of Tongji Hospital, was appointed as the director of the Institute.
