According to the China Transportation News, Tianjin's transportation this year will focus on six aspects, including leveraging the efficiency of integrated transportation in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, and accelerate the construction of 28 key projects. This year, Tianjin's transportation will maintain a high level of investment, coordinate the precise supply of increment and the quality improvement of stock, complete the bridge construction of the Jinwei High-Speed Railway and the southern section of the Beijing-Tianjin Intercity Railway, start the construction of the Taihang Bohai Railway dedicated line, complete the main structure of the Xingang Expressway, and start the construction of the half-section of the Beijing-Tianjin-Tang Expressway; accelerate the progress of 6 ongoing projects including the upgrade of the 100,000-ton channel in the Dagang Port area, and start 4 new projects such as the upgrade of the Eurasia container terminal berth. To promote the integrated development of transportation in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, Tianjin's transportation this year will implement the "Beijing-Tianjin commuting convenience" initiative, start the renovation of the Tianjin South Station building, support the opening of the Wuqing-Beijing commuting bus route; implement a three-year action plan to accelerate the development of aviation passenger and cargo transportation, expand functions such as air-air transfer; promote mature mechanisms to replicate and promote in the broader Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, jointly conduct pilot projects for cross-provincial digital transformation and upgrade of highways, and construct cross-provincial zero-emission freight transportation corridors.
