Chevron's Venezuela branch manager Mariano Vela expressed during a broadcast on the Venezuelan national television station that Chevron expects to continue negotiating with relevant authorities over the oil reform regulations being pushed through the country's parliament. Vela also expressed gratitude to the local employees and authorities for their efforts to safeguard oil production.
