On January 27, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of Taiyuan City issued a situation report: Recently, some media reported the situation where the chairman of Taiyuan Liquor Factory was suspected of physically assaulting someone and was administratively detained. Taiyuan Liquor Factory is under the supervision of our Commission, and our Commission attaches great importance to this matter. We have organized relevant departments to hold a special meeting at the first time, and have simultaneously initiated an investigation. After preliminary investigation, it was found that the person in charge of the company, Rong Moufeng, did indeed have a physical altercation with someone due to a dispute over company funds.
