The balance of loans in Zhejiang Province's financial sector reached 12.8 trillion yuan, an increase of 10.9% year-on-year.

On January 26th, it was reported by the Zhejiang Branch of the People's Bank of China that as of the end of November 2025, the balance of loans for the "Five Major Financial Initiatives" in Zhejiang Province was 12.8 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 10.9%, accounting for 11.9% of the national total. Among them, the balances of loans for technology and strategic emerging industries increased by 13.7% and 14.9% respectively, both higher than the growth rates of other types of loans. In addition, one third of the science and technology innovation bonds issued by private enterprises in the province accounted for one third of the national total, ranking first in the country.
