At the "Star Calculation and Intelligent Connection" space computing power seminar organized by China Information and Communication Institute on January 26, 2026, Wang Yabo, Executive Vice President of National Aerospace, disclosed the latest progress and detailed roadmap of its "Star Calculation" plan. The plan aims to build a space computing power network consisting of 2,800 computational satellites, specifically focusing on serving the silicon-based intelligent entities in the aerospace, land, and sea sectors, as well as the inference and training of AI models. This is also the world's first space computing power network serving silicon-based intelligent entities.
