The South Korean government has decided to build two new nuclear power plants.

After long-term discussions, the South Korean government has ultimately decided to move forward with the construction of a new nuclear power plant project. The Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Company is about to start the site selection work, and it is expected that the project will be approved in the early 2030s, with the two units expected to be completed in 2037 and 2038.
