Duke Energy: There are more than 18,000 households without power in North Carolina, and with the threat of ice on trees and power lines, it is expected that the number of outages will continue to increase. As of 4pm on Sunday, January 25, Duke Energy has restored power to 24,864 customers in North Carolina. It is expected that the number of households without power will continue to rise into Sunday evening.
