On January 24, 2026, the Global Service Providers Conference was held in Shanghai. The conference, with the theme of "Gathering Momentum, Sharing Future Prosperity," was jointly organized by the Shanghai Development and Reform Commission and the People's Government of Jing'an District. It aimed to provide a high-end platform for exchange, promote the high-quality development of professional service industries, and inject stronger momentum into enterprises going global. At the conference, Jing'an District officially released and launched the plan for the construction of a high-end professional service industry cluster area. This plan is guided by the enhancement of urban core functions and the deepening of the "Global Service Provider Program," fully aligning with the "Three-Year Action Plan for Promoting the Leasing and Business Service Industry in Shanghai" to ensure that by 2028, the annual growth rate of the leasing and business service industry in the entire district is higher than the average level of the economy and industry in the district, maintaining a leading scale in the city and increasing its proportion continuously. During the event, the sixth batch of global service provider companies were officially certified, covering multiple fields such as law, consulting, and human resources. With this, the total number of global service providers in Jing'an has reached 115, further highlighting the concentration effect of the professional service industry.
