Notice from the National Internet Information Office on the Public Solicitation of Opinions on the "Financial Information Service Data Classification Guide"

To standardize the data processing activities of financial information services and enhance the data security level of financial information services, in accordance with the "Cybersecurity Law of the People's Republic of China," "Data Security Law of the People's Republic of China," "Personal Information Protection Law of the People's Republic of China," "Regulations on the Management of Network Data Security," and "Regulations on the Management of Financial Information Services," the Cyberspace Administration of China, together with relevant departments, has organized the drafting of the "Classification and Grading Guidelines for Financial Information Service Data." The draft is now open for public consultation. The public can provide feedback through the following channels and methods: 1. By sending feedback via email to: shujuju@cac.gov.cn. 2. By sending feedback by post to: Network Data Management Bureau of the Cyberspace Administration of China, 15 Fucheng Road, Haidian District, Beijing, Postcode 100048, and clearly indicating "Feedback on the Classification and Grading Guidelines for Financial Information Service Data" on the envelope. The deadline for feedback is February 23, 2026.
