Eight departments issued the "Classification Measures for Network Information that May Affect the Physical and Mental Health of Minors", which will be implemented starting from March 1, 2026. This measure aims to create a network environment that is conducive to the physical and mental health of minors, clearly defining the specific categories, scope, criteria for judgment, and methods of notification for network information that may affect the physical and mental health of minors. The measure covers various aspects such as potentially triggering or inducing minors to imitate bad behavior, causing negative influences on the values of minors, improper use of the images of minors, and improper disclosure and use of personal information of minors. Providers of network products and services must take preventive and resistance measures to avoid affecting the physical and mental health of minors, and provide significant warnings before displaying information.
