National Intellectual Property Administration: Improving the intellectual property protection system for new fields and new formats such as artificial intelligence.
At the press conference held by the State Council Information Office today, the relevant person in charge of the National Intellectual Property Administration stated that the national intellectual property system will anchor its goals, continue its efforts, and strive to achieve a good start in the "14th Five-Year Plan" period. The main focus will be on seven areas of work. These include improving legal safeguards, accelerating the comprehensive revision of the Trademark Law and the amendment of the Regulations on the Protection of Layout Designs of Integrated Circuits, and strengthening research and demonstration of specific legislation on geographical indications. Additionally, measures will be taken to improve the intellectual property protection system for new fields and formats such as artificial intelligence. The rules for data intellectual property protection will be continuously improved, and relevant pilot projects will be further deepened.
