By the end of 2025, China will have set up 99 overseas platforms for handling intellectual property disputes.
The National Intellectual Property Office introduced the progress of intellectual property work in 2025. According to the introduction, by the end of 2025, 99 overseas intellectual property dispute response guidance platforms have been set up in 30 provinces nationwide, 6 industry work platforms have been set up for key areas such as automobiles and photovoltaics, and overseas work platforms have been established in 11 countries, forming a "domestic + overseas" two-way linkage of rights protection guidance network. At the same time, the construction of the expert database has been continuously optimized, with nearly 2,000 guiding experts participating in relevant work. Throughout the year 2025, a total of more than 4,800 guidance and consulting services were provided to enterprises for cross-border e-commerce intellectual property disputes, overseas trademark squatting, etc., saving losses of 2.75 billion yuan. Information services are more accurate. The national overseas intellectual property information service platform continues to be optimized and upgraded, with 1,470 laws and regulations from 189 countries and regions worldwide, issuing a series of country guides and rights protection guidelines, achieving "one-stop" inquiries.
