According to Hainan Daily, in 2025, the province received a total of 106 million domestic and foreign tourists, an increase of 9.1% year-on-year. Among them, 1.5 million inbound tourists were received, an increase of 35.2% year-on-year, with 5.94 million inbound overnight tourists, an increase of 59% year-on-year. Tourists' total spending reached 225.432 billion yuan, an increase of 10.5% year-on-year. Tourism has entered a new stage with "over 100 million visitor arrivals and total spending exceeding 200 billion yuan," showing significant results in high-quality tourism development.
