Darktrace CEO said in Davos that AI is making network threats increasingly complex.
Darktrace CEO Jill Popelka told Bloomberg at the Davos World Economic Forum that advances in artificial intelligence are making it increasingly difficult to detect network attacks, as these attacks are becoming more complex. She said, "AI is making network attacks more mainstream." She pointed out that countries like Japan used to have a natural barrier because the complexity of the Japanese language made it harder for hackers to prepare attacks. However, she said the emergence of AI has eliminated that natural barrier.
