The spokesperson of the Ministry of Commerce, He Yong, stated at a regular press conference on the 22nd that by 2025, under the guidance of high-quality construction of the "Belt and Road" initiative, Chinese enterprises will maintain healthy, stable, and orderly development of overseas investment. By the end of 2025, China has established more than 50,000 enterprises overseas, covering 190 countries and regions, and has maintained among the top three in the world in terms of outward investment for nine consecutive years. In 2025, China's outward direct investment reached $174.38 billion, a 7.1% increase from last year, ranking stably among the top globally. At the same time, Chinese companies that are "going global" actively fulfill their social responsibilities by solving over 2 million job positions annually on average, and investing in the construction of a large number of education, health, environmental, and livelihood facilities.
