In the next five years, Hubei's urban renewal investment will exceed 700 billion yuan, doubling from the "Fourteenth Five-Year Plan" period.

On January 20th, the urban renewal financial docking event in Hubei province was held in Wuhan. It was revealed at the meeting that the investment in major projects in the construction industry in the province during the "15th Five-Year Plan" period will exceed 830 billion yuan, with urban renewal projects accounting for over 80%, doubling from the "14th Five-Year Plan" period. As an important economic sector in the province, investment in the construction industry accounts for more than 40% of the province's fixed asset investment. At the docking meeting, the development blueprint for urban renewal in Hubei during the "15th Five-Year Plan" period was officially unveiled. Hubei will focus on urban renewal and transformation, restructuring the real estate business model, reshaping the urban commercial ecosystem, and promoting the green and intelligent transformation of the construction industry. Of the over 700 billion yuan investment in urban renewal, more than 370 billion yuan will be invested in 10 major projects such as the transformation of integrated underground pipe networks for water supply and drainage in cities along the Yangtze River. These projects have both public welfare attributes and commercial value, achieving a win-win situation for improving people's livelihoods and stimulating consumption.
