At the "Baichuan-M3 Plus Model Release Media Communication Conference," Baichuan Intelligent unveiled a new generation of medical large model, Baichuan-M3, and just 9 days later, released the Baichuan-M3 Plus model, announcing further improvements in the accuracy and reliability of medical question and answer compared to the M3 model, once again breaking the world record for low hallucination rate in medical models. It is reported that the hallucination rate of M3 Plus has greatly decreased compared to the previously released M3 model, dropping from 3.5 hallucination rate in the Hallucination Rate evaluation of M3 to 2.6 in M3 Plus. During the on-site testing session, Baichuan Intelligent compared multiple mainstream AI medical model products in China, and the results showed that in the case of different degrees of confusion in the use of references and professional expressions by many peers in answering questions, the Baichuan Xiao app integrated with M3 Plus achieved the most accurate results. In addition, M3 Plus also solved the problem of high model costs, achieving a 70% reduction in API call fees, clearing obstacles for large-scale applications.
