Cold wave security supply, the daily gas supply of many energy companies reached a record high.
The first widespread cold wave this year has brought severe temperature drops and rain, snow, and icy weather to most areas of our country, leading to a continued rise in the demand for household energy. Energy enterprises have been continuously improving their energy supply capabilities and emergency response levels, with several energy companies reaching record-high daily gas supply levels. In the foothills of the Tianshan Mountains in Xinjiang, the widespread snowfall has brought the lowest temperatures to around -20C. As the largest ultra-deep oil and gas field in our country and the main source of gas supply for the West-East Gas Transmission Project, the Tarim Oilfield has increased its storage and production capacity, supplying over 92 million cubic meters of natural gas daily. Faced with extreme weather conditions, several energy enterprises have dynamically adjusted their gas supply plans, setting new records for daily gas supply. The largest oil field in our country, the Changqing Oilfield, has maintained a daily gas production volume of 171 million cubic meters; the Southwest Oil Bureau in the Sichuan Basin has increased its daily production level to over 30.4 million cubic meters, reaching a historical high. Sinopec's single-day maximum gas supply reached 210 million cubic meters, which can meet the gas demand of 14 million households for a month, setting a new high for this heating season.
