The Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Supervisory Commission reported on the situation of supervision, inspection, examination, and investigation of discipline inspection and supervision cadres in 2025.

In 2025, at all levels of discipline inspection and supervision organs, guided by Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics in the New Era, they deeply studied and understood the important ideas of General Secretary Xi Jinping on the Party's self-revolution, resolutely implemented the important requirements for the construction of discipline inspection and supervision teams, thoroughly studied and implemented the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Party, fully implemented the work arrangements of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection's Fourth Plenary Session, solidly carried out in-depth education on the implementation of the spirit of the central eight-point regulation, and comprehensively promoted the "Year of Standardization, Legalization, and Regularization of Discipline Inspection and Supervision Work" action, persistently deepened rectification of discipline and anti-corruption, and focused on building a disciplined and clean discipline inspection and supervision team that is loyal, clean and capable of fighting. National discipline inspection and supervision organs received a total of more than 40,200 clues or reports related to problems of discipline inspection and supervision cadres, disposed of more than 35,000 clues related to problems of discipline inspection and supervision cadres, conducted interviews or inquiries with 10,840 discipline inspection and supervision cadres, cases were filed against 4,119 discipline inspection and supervision cadres, 3,763 were disciplined, and 234 were transferred to judicial authorities. Among them, 4 provincial and ministerial-level cadres were disciplined, 116 bureau-level cadres, and 746 county-level cadres. The national discipline inspection and supervision organs used the "four forms" of criticism and education to deal with more than 13,900 discipline inspection and supervision cadres. Among them, the first form of criticism and education was used for 9,937 people, the second form was used for 3,217 people, the third form was used for 465 people, and the fourth form was used for 282 people.
