Apple plans to reshape Siri into an integrated chatbot to counter OpenAI.

Apple plans to make major changes to Siri later this year, transforming it into the company's first artificial intelligence chatbot, with the project codenamed "Campos". This chatbot will be deeply integrated into the iPhone, iPad, and Mac operating systems, replacing the current Siri interface. Users will still be able to activate this new service by voice command "Siri" or long pressing the device's side button. This new solution will have capabilities far beyond the current Siri, including analyzing screen content, accessing personal data, searching the web, creating content, generating images, summarizing information, and analyzing uploaded files.
