As artificial intelligence may disrupt job markets around the world, NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang downplays concerns about long-term prospects and emphasizes the rising demand for skilled tradesmen. Huang said on Wednesday at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland that operating and training AI requires building data centers, and plumbers, electricians, and construction workers will be able to earn "six-figure salaries." He said this technology will bring one of the largest infrastructure construction booms in history, driving trillions of dollars in new investments. "We are seeing a significant expansion in this field. Salaries have almost doubled," Huang said. "Everyone should be able to live a decent life. You don't need a computer science PhD to achieve that."
