Huang Renxun said the second major breakthrough came from the launch of the first open-source inference model DeepSeek, which was a significant event for most industries and companies. Since then, the ecosystem of open-source inference models has flourished, and many companies, research institutions, and educators can use open-source models to do things. Huang Renxun stated that the third area that has made great progress is physical AI. Physical AI can not only understand language but also understand the physical world, such as understanding biological proteins, chemistry, and physics. In the field of physics, AI can understand fluid dynamics, particle physics, and quantum physics.
