It is speculated that the offline sales team is gradually being established as China Mobile's business halls need to train qualified personnel for insurance sales, as salespersons must have the necessary qualifications to promote and issue policies. In 2017, CMIG Renhe Life Insurance Co., Ltd. was approved to start operations, initiated by China Merchants Group, China Mobile, and Air China, along with several other companies. Currently, China Mobile is the second-largest shareholder of CMIG Renhe Life Insurance Co., Ltd.
