The first methanol dual-fuel container ship in the North China region was delivered.
On January 21, the first methanol dual-fuel container ship in the North China region was named and delivered. The ship, which is 366 meters long, 51 meters wide, and has a depth of 30.2 meters, can carry 16,136 standard containers, including 1,000 refrigerated containers. It uses green methanol as its main fuel, enabling deep decarbonization throughout its lifecycle and reducing emissions by over 90%, fully meeting current environmental emission standards for maritime navigation. The ship is equipped with a 11,000 cubic meter large methanol storage tank, supporting one-way voyages from the Far East to the East Coast of the United States.
