In 2025, China's commercial aerospace industry maintains rapid development. Throughout the year, 50 launches were completed, accounting for 54% of the total number of space launches in China for the year. Among them, commercial carrier rockets were launched 25 times; the Hainan commercial space launch site was put into use and implemented 9 launches, with a total of 10 launches since its completion; and other commercial satellite launches were carried out 16 times. A total of 311 commercial satellites were put into orbit throughout the year, accounting for 84% of the total number of satellites put into orbit in China for the year. The breakthrough in reusable launch vehicle technology accelerated, with the Zhuque III reusable launch vehicle completing its maiden flight, successfully placing the second stage into orbit, and conducting core technology verification for the reentry of the first stage.
