Strategist: Asian stocks still have a positive outlook.

June Chua of Manulife Investment Management stated in the company's Asia Market and Investment Outlook report for the first half of the year that, boosted by favorable currency dynamics and improved visibility of performance, the outlook for Asian stocks remains positive this year. The Asian stock chief pointed out that last year's weakening US dollar and easing financial environment boosted Asian stocks outside of Japan. She expects earnings revisions in 2026 and 2027 to provide support for valuations.
