The Silicon Branch of the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association released the weekly review of polycrystalline silicon. According to Antaike statistics, the transaction price range for N-type polycrystalline silicon recycled materials this week is between 50,000 and 63,000 yuan/ton, with an average transaction price of 59,200 yuan/ton, holding steady compared to the previous week. The transaction price range for N-type granular silicon is between 50,000 and 63,000 yuan/ton, with an average transaction price of 55,800 yuan/ton, holding steady compared to the previous week. Although there has been a slight loosening of prices from some companies this week, the mainstream market transaction prices remain stable overall. The market trading atmosphere is light, with few new signed orders, and mainly limited to small trial transactions. According to production plans, many leading companies are proceeding with planned shutdowns or production reductions in January, with the monthly average production of polycrystalline silicon expected to decrease to around 80,000 tons in the first quarter. Despite the lack of substantial recovery in end demand, the significant reduction in supply is gradually leading to a weak balance in supply and demand. It is expected that in the short term, the polycrystalline silicon market will maintain a wait-and-see situation.
