The comprehensive dispatch command center of the Ministry of Transport has learned that the impact of the low temperature, rain, snow, and ice brought by this cold wave on transportation is still ongoing. As of 9 a.m., due to snowfall and icy roads, 161 sections of national and provincial highways in 14 provinces including Shanxi, Heilongjiang, Jiangsu, Anhui, Jiangxi, Shandong, Henan, Hunan, Guangxi, Sichuan, Guizhou, Yunnan, Shaanxi, and Xinjiang have implemented proactive closure and control measures, with 86 sections closing the main road and 75 sections closing toll stations. Compared to yesterday, the situation has slightly improved.
