By 2025, more than 140,000 new and specialized small and medium-sized enterprises will have been nurtured.

On January 21st, the State Council Information Office held a press conference to introduce the development achievements of industrial and information technology by the year 2025. During the conference, it was mentioned that efforts have been made to strengthen the cultivation of high-quality enterprises, with over 140,000 specialized and innovative small and medium-sized enterprises being nurtured, and 504,000 high-tech enterprises in operation. The value added of specialized and innovative "hidden champions" in the industrial sector increased by 9% year-on-year in 2025, and the total profits of high-tech enterprises in the industrial sector increased by 5.3% in the first 11 months of the year.
