Guangzhou: Focus on developing low-altitude economy, aviation and aerospace, biomedicine and healthcare, artificial intelligence, and other industries with basic foundations and potentials.

During this year's annual meetings in Guangzhou, the Secretary of the Party Group and Director of the Development and Reform Commission of Guangzhou, Wu Sa, stated that by 2026, Guangzhou will continue to promote the development of industry and technology simultaneously, in order to strengthen the foundation of the real economy. They will stabilize key industries such as automobiles, electronics, petrochemicals, and fashion consumption, support GAC and Xiaopeng Motors in expanding their business layout, achieve the "smart electric transformation" of the automobile industry, improve the supporting core components, and create a trillion-level automobile industry cluster. They will focus on promoting key industries such as low-altitude economy, aerospace, biomedicine and health, and artificial intelligence that have a strong foundation and potential for growth, by introducing special policy measures, creating special industrial funds, supporting the development of new infrastructure, conducting pilot applications, and nurturing them into new pillar industries.
