Ministry of Industry and Information Technology: AI has penetrated over 70% of the business scenarios in leading smart factories

The State Council Information Office held a press conference to introduce the achievements of industrial and information development by 2025. Xie Cun, Director of the Information and Communication Development Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, stated that currently, artificial intelligence has penetrated more than 70% of the business scenarios of leading intelligent factories, with over 6,000 vertical domain models developed. This has driven the large-scale application of over 1,700 key intelligent manufacturing equipment and industrial software, forming a batch of industrial intelligent bodies with perception, decision-making, and execution capabilities. This has promoted the improvement of intelligent manufacturing from automation to autonomy.
