Currently, AI glasses face the "impossible triangle" in terms of cost, weight, performance, and battery life, and trade-offs need to be made in various aspects. AI audio glasses and AI shooting glasses are already quite mature, while AI+AR glasses with display screens are still in the development stage. The optical display system is one of the key links, and it is expected that waveguide solutions will become the mainstream direction in the future when the technology matures, potentially replacing smartphones as personal comprehensive terminals. Lens manufacturers are currently mainly focusing on sales channels and customized lens areas to drive up unit prices.
