Starting from January 20th, in addition to the existing ticket booking channels, the railway department has launched a telephone booking service for elderly passengers. Elderly passengers can purchase train tickets for travel dates on or after February 2nd, with a pre-sale period of at least 3 days before departure. They can call the railway 12306 customer service hotline to book tickets, and can choose to pay for the tickets online or offline, which will further facilitate elderly passengers in purchasing tickets and traveling.
