Shanghai has begun offering free two-dose HPV vaccines, and vaccines have been distributed to all 16 districts.
Currently, Shanghai has officially launched the appointment vaccination service for the bivalent HPV vaccine. Vaccination clinics in community health service centers in all 16 districts of the city that are part of the national immunization program for the HPV vaccine are in place, and those who meet the criteria can receive the vaccine. On January 20th, Huang Zhuoying, the director of the Immunization Planning Department at the Shanghai Center for Disease Control and Prevention, stated in an interview with reporters that, according to national requirements, girls must be at least 13 years old on the day of vaccination and must have been born after November 10, 2011. Those who meet both criteria can receive two doses of the bivalent HPV vaccine for free.
