Shanghai Disneyland launched its 10th-anniversary celebration in March, with several new projects under construction.

Bao Zhaotian, President and General Manager of Shanghai Disney Resort, stated on January 20th that 2026 will mark the tenth anniversary of the opening of Shanghai Disney. This March, they will launch the tenth anniversary celebration, explore more original IPs, and introduce Zootopia Land in addition to the successful launch of Lena Belle. Furthermore, Shanghai Disney is currently building its third and fourth themed hotels, expanding the Soaring Over the Horizon attraction, constructing a new Spiderman themed area, and introducing Star Wars BDX robots in February. Bao Zhaotian also mentioned that Shanghai Disney welcomed its 100 millionth visitor in 2025, with a rapid increase in inbound tourists mainly coming from Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, and South Korea. In the future, they plan to collaborate more with tourism companies to attract even more inbound tourists.
