On January 20, Li Xianzhong, the Director-General of the Department of Finance and Comprehensive Affairs, stated at a press conference at the State Council Information Office that the Ministry of Finance and the State Administration of Taxation had recently issued announcements, clarifying that starting from April 1, 2026, export tax rebates for products such as photovoltaics would be canceled, and export tax rebates for electronic products would be phased out over two years. This adjustment to the export tax rebate policy is beneficial for promoting efficient use of resources, guiding rational adjustments in industrial structure, comprehensively regulating "internal competition," and promoting high-quality economic development.
