On the 20th, Wang Shancheng, director of the Department of Resource Conservation and Environmental Protection of the National Development and Reform Commission, stated at a press conference that since the implementation of the "Two New" policies, the recycling and reuse system has been accelerated and improved, with over 29,000 new intelligent community recycling facilities nationwide. The energy-saving and carbon reduction standards have steadily increased, with all 294 national standards related to the "Two New" being released. Green and low-carbon products are being promoted rapidly, with new energy vehicles accounting for nearly 60% of consumer purchases, and first-class energy-efficient and water-efficient home appliances accounting for over 90%.
