In 2025, China's commercial aerospace industry maintained rapid development. Throughout the year, 50 launches were completed, accounting for 54% of the total annual space launches in China. Among them, commercial carrier rockets were launched 25 times; the Hainan commercial space launch center was put into use and carried out 9 launches, completing a total of 10 launches since its establishment; and 16 other commercial satellite launches were conducted. 311 commercial satellites were successfully placed into orbit throughout the year, accounting for 84% of the total annual satellite launches in China. The technology of reusable carrier rockets accelerated breakthroughs, with Zhuque-3 reusable carrier rockets completing their maiden flight, achieving the successful placement of the second stage, and conducting core technology verifications such as the reentry of the first stage.
