According to China Securities Journal, humanoid robots bear the heavy responsibility of bringing "physical AI" into reality, and the mass entry into factories for "working" is a test of their technology. "Currently, the autonomous decision-making ability of the 'brain' of humanoid robots is generally insufficient, and many robots still rely on remote control operations, as well as constraints such as high costs, short battery life, and limited load capacity, making it difficult to meet the continuous production needs of factories in the short term." Recently, Zhang Ruirui, founder and chairman of Chengdu Humanoid Robot Innovation Center Co., Ltd. and a member of the Industrial and Information Department's standardization committee for humanoid robots and embodied intelligent technology, said in an interview with China Securities Journal. As the "number one starting point project" of Sichuan Province's "number one innovation project," the innovation center focuses on core technology research in the fields of humanoid robot "brain," "cerebellum," and "limbs." "The homogenization of the industry competition is severe, and some companies are too focused on 'shape' and not enough on 'intelligence,' leading to resource waste. Therefore, it is necessary to prioritize breakthroughs in brain technology to enable robots to understand, reason, and adapt to dynamic environments." Zhang Ruirui firmly believes that "the value of humanoid robots lies in intelligence rather than form, and brain technology is the core of the industrialization of humanoid robots."
