The headquarters base of Sichuan Shuangliu District's Interstellar Glory reusable liquid carrier rocket production is expected to be completed in December 2026. The base will have 4 assembly production lines and 2 test production lines, with a design capacity of producing 20 Long March 3 rockets per year. The production capacity is planned to increase annually in 2027 and 2028. The project focuses on the core technology of reusable liquid carrier rockets, with the recoverable part accounting for nearly 70% of the total value of the rocket. By recycling and reusing, launch costs can be greatly reduced, providing strong support for the development of large-scale constellation networking, low-orbit cargo transportation, and space tourism in the aerospace industry. To achieve this, the project will use deep digital intelligent manufacturing technology and utilize intelligent specialized robots for unmanned operations, significantly shortening the production cycle from several days to 4 to 5 hours, providing solid support for achieving production capacity goals.
