The National Chief Prosecutors' Conference held in Beijing on January 19 revealed that data shows that prosecutorial authorities have continuously improved the quality and efficiency of legal supervision, promoting strict law enforcement and justice. From January to November 2025, prosecutorial authorities supervised 15,000 cases where investigative agencies should have filed a case but did not, and revoked 39,600 cases where cases were filed but should not have been. They also provided written corrective opinions 79,000 times for illegal activities in investigations. For cases where arrests should have been made or prosecutions should have been brought but were not requested for approval or not transferred for prosecution, they supervised the arrest of 9,439 individuals and the prosecution of 27,000 individuals.
