Shanxi has installed a total of 96,000 video surveillance cameras in coal mines.

Reporter learned from the Shanxi branch of the National Mine Safety Supervision Bureau that Shanxi is continuously promoting the construction of "no monitoring, no operation" and "electronic fences" to improve the intrinsic safety level of coal mines. As of now, a total of 96,000 video monitoring devices have been installed in coal mines, achieving intelligent AI recognition in 16,700 areas. "Electronic fences" have been installed in 24,000 dangerous areas such as the heading face in underground mining areas.
