In December, the electricity production of large-scale industrial enterprises maintained growth. The electricity generation of large-scale industrial enterprises was 858.6 billion kilowatt-hours in December, an increase of 0.1% year-on-year; the daily electricity generation was 27.0 billion kilowatt-hours. From January to December, the electricity generation of large-scale industrial enterprises was 97.159 billion kilowatt-hours, an increase of 2.2% year-on-year. In terms of specific types, in December, the decline in thermal power generation of large-scale industrial enterprises narrowed, while the growth rates of hydropower, nuclear power, wind power, and solar power generation slowed down. Specifically, the thermal power generation of large-scale industrial enterprises decreased by 3.2% year-on-year in December, a decrease of 1.0 percentage points compared to November; hydropower generation of large-scale industrial enterprises increased by 4.1%, a decrease of 13.0 percentage points compared to November; nuclear power generation of large-scale industrial enterprises increased by 3.1%, a decrease of 1.6 percentage points compared to November; wind power generation of large-scale industrial enterprises increased by 8.9%, a decrease of 13.1 percentage points compared to November; and solar power generation of large-scale industrial enterprises increased by 18.2%, a decrease of 5.2 percentage points compared to November.
