Due to serious forest fires, Chilean President Bories today declared the regions of uble and Biobo in a state of disaster. According to official information from Chile, the fires have resulted in 16 deaths, with an area of over 7600 hectares burned. Bories stated that all resources are already in place. Local governments have initiated preventative evacuations and strengthened resource deployment to address the emergency situation. The National Disaster Prevention and Response Service is urging the public to remain vigilant, stay calm, and follow the instructions of emergency personnel.
