Wind data shows that during the week from January 12th to 16th, over 200 billion yuan of funds were withdrawn from core broad-based ETFs, a 15-fold increase from the previous week, setting a new record for weekly net outflows. Core varieties such as the CSI 300 and the ChiNext board became the main battlefield for fund withdrawals, with the CSI 300 ETF alone experiencing net outflows of over 100 billion yuan. At the same time, nearly 70 billion yuan of hot money flowed into industry theme tracks, with themes such as satellites and non-ferrous metals becoming the focus of fund allocation, driving several products to break records in terms of scale. With funds rapidly changing positions, the trading volume of equity ETFs surpassed 1.28 trillion yuan in a single week, reaching a five-year high.
